Born and raised in a small town in upstate New York, it was in the fall of 2006, I headed to New York City to major in photography at the School of Visual Arts (SVA). Eager to begin working in my field, I reached out to photographer Tobin Yelland, who got his start as a skateboard photographer before moving on to corporate clients. Tobin agreed to take me on as intern and show me the ropes. I gained valuable guidance and experience in my time working with him, and even had the opportunity to add Nike 6.0 to my list of clients as a freshman. Now in my senior year at SVA, I have had the opportunity to work with some incredible photographers over the last 3 years, including most recently Allen Benedikt. I have also worked professionally throughout my schooling and produced work for a wide range of clients, most of whom I still have a working relationship with. |
